Hi! I'm new here, obviously. Never been in a forum before. This site saved my life when I was a very young anime fan, looking for something appropriate, and now I would like to return the favor.
I'm a fellow Christian and anime fan.
My favorite series include the Fruits Basket reboot, both iterations of Fullmetal Alchemist, Noragami, and Yona of the Dawn.
I love writing and drawing, and I aspire to be an author.
I really want to make friends who share a love of anime and faith.
This was probably worded really badly, but here you go!

Welcome! I still enjoy the original Fruits Basket, but I'm hearing good stuff about the redo.

Yeah, I liked the first Fruits Basket quite a bit, and then I discovered the reboot, and I was blown away.

Yeah! It's really nice to meet you both! I'm probably going to be pretty active on this site, even though it's pretty dead. I hope more people show up here because it seems to be a pretty cool place. Just looking through the threads, everyone seems so nice!

I just met you in a few other places, but I should say it here too:
Welcome! Glad you've joined us.
And this I pray, that your love would abound still, more and more with real knowledge and all discernment. Be prepared to preach the gospel at a moment's notice. Do you know the gospel well enough to do so yourself? Be ready.

Welcome, nice to meet you, and cool hobbies!

I saw some of your posts a few days ago and didn't have time to reply to anything yet, but It's nice to see someone bringing life back into the forums. ^_^

I didn't know our review section was still working. That's cool. I know a few people who may want to touch our review section.

Welcome, welcome!
I'm late to the party (as usual), but it's always exciting to see a new face. I'm so glad to hear that CAA was awesome for you as a teen, as it was for me. And I'm excited to see someone else excited to get the forum going again.
So basically in short, it's awesome to meet you and I hope we can be friends!

Love all the anime on your list, though I still haven't gotten arou d to finishing Yona.
And yay, another writer! I really only dabble in writing, but it's fun to meet other creators of fantastical wonderment.

Nice to meet you!

They have shewed thee, O teen, what is good; and what doth the world require of thee, but to fit in, be wealthy, have good looks, and be rebellious? -Peer Pressure 1:1

Yeah, I've been into writing ever since I was maybe five or six. Right now I'm pretty unmotivated, though.

And yeah, around the pandemic I got into anime, but I was really scared about everything being inappropriate. This site and Imdb were my resources.

Hey, its nice to meet you! Welcome to the site! Its a bit dusty as you've noticed but hopefully we can make a small revival :)

I enjoy writing, but my creativity has been a little dry lately thanks to classes and life stress. Good luck with it! Hope you find your motivation again!
"Show me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day." Psalm 25:4-5

"Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.
The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.
Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.
Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.
O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles." Psalm 25: 16-22
