Trumpy is an occassional MiSTer who has participated in one dual MiSTing and one solo. Both are weird conspiracy/paranormal stuff. Star Trek: Episode 666: Another in the series of stupid Star Trek parodies that were MiSTed, this one involves every member of the ST:TNG cast acting like they were on some serious medication. Riker gets hurt... severely. Picard tries reenacting the Boston Tea Party, with tragic results, and Troi acts like a vacuous bimbo. (Insert your own joke here.) I heartily recommend this one. The Star Unicorns: Trumpy and JAREK help us through a message apparently intercepted and posted to the Internet by well meaning psychics. The story revolves around the Star Unicorns, who are apparently God's "My Little Pony" dolls. Through a complicated system of inbreeding, they are every relation imaginable to us. You'll laugh! You'll cry! But it will be much more of the latter as the Star Unicorns of Love and Power tell the story of how they zapped all our positive karma in order to open a portal to get back home. Don't laugh, we'll probably see this plot on "Voyager" some day. This MiSTing won two Silver Cambots for being nominated for "Best Non-Standard MST3K Character in an MST3k Setting" in 1996 (The Vision Keeper Star Unicorn) and being nominated for "Worst Non-Fictional Fiction" in 1996. [ERA: JOEL]
Falling Into Command: Here comes another tale of wonder by Stephen Ratliff! After "A Royal Wedding", the Federation decided that they were tired of those pesky Romulans continually blowing up Federation starships. So Riker goes and gets captured, just so they can make a new Enterprise and give it to Marrissa. Marrissa fights the war of Romulan Dissolution/Desolution (Desolation?) and is promoted to admiral and is about to pop out a "little Marrissa". HELP! (Additional Authors: Merritt Stone, Steven "Badger" Savage and Kevin Gowen) Independence Day, part I, part II, part III and part IV: Remember that charming movie about us blowing up aliens who want to kill us? Well, so do MiSTers, and here is their take on it.
Nominated for the Balsa Waffle for "Worst Scientific Explainations/Technobabble" (1997) [ERA: CHASE (Most likely between Earth 2525 and Observer
Planet)]
Premier Marqui: This one's fun. Firstly, Maquis terrorists led by TNG bit player Ro and DS9 bit player Eddington take over a Federation starship using what has universally become known as "Ratliff Gas", a secret compound that knocks out adults, but leaves children unscathed. After containing the Maquis using senseless violence, Marrissa is assigned the task of being Ro's defender. Marrissa somehow manages to convince Sisko that hijacking starships is okay when you're a civilian, and darn it, that's just what Ro is because remember in her last episoder when she gave her resignation to Laughing Boy while pointing a phaser at him? Nominated for the Golden Hamdinger for "Best Overall Misting" Awarded the Golden Hamdinger for "Best Host Segments" Awarded the Balsa Waffle for "Worst Plot Contrivence" Nominated for the Balsa Waffle for "Worst Charactization of an Established Character" (1997) The Mighty Jack era: As Mighty Jack, this MiSTer continued his previous ways, although he focused more on Ratliff, except for one spam MiSTing. Premier Marqui (group version): Same story as above, but Dr. Forrester is trying out replicants of Mike and the 'bots in an attempt to take over the world. Dr. F is field testing the 'bots using Premier Marqui. Fifteen sets of Mike and the 'bots attack this one. Nominated for the Golden Hamdinger for "Best Riffing" Awarded the Balsa Waffle for "Worst Plot Contrivence" Nominated for the Balsa Waffle for "Worst Charactization of an Established Character" (1997) [ERA: MIKE] How To Pick Up Young and/or Topless Women: A Spam Trilogy: Mighty Jack tries his hand at spam as desperate losers attempt to make money off of even more desperate losers! Yes, it's the trio of terror of: "25 Opening Lines To Use On Topless Dancers", "How To Pick Up Hot & Sexy Topless Dancers" and "How To Date Young Women...For Men Over 35"! This MiSTing rated PG-13 by the authors. (Additional Author: Catherine Johnson) [ERA: CHASE (Most Probably either Space or Finale)] All the King's Horses: That kooky Ratliff is up to it again as he inserts a story between A Battle For Bajor and Cadet Cruise. Jean-Luc Picard takes newly-adopted Marrissa to meet his "destined to be charcoal" family. Marrissa goes T-shirt shopping, orders the Pope around, meets the gender changing priest, and wins the final third of the triple crown. If that wasn't bad enough, Marrissa starts taking off clothes and swimming again! (Additional Authors :Joseph Nebus, Chris "Frobozz" Angelini, Steven "Badger" Savage and Kevin Gowen [ERA: CHASE (Finale)] A Royal Mess, Part II : The cursed Ratliff story that defied all attempts to complete its MiSTing. Marrissa learns she's royalty and strawberry juice filled mayhem ensues. First, a goofy investigation into a bombing turns into a 6th grade science project, while a sadistic little "drill" kills half the crew. Then, Marrissa meets the Queen, and learns that they're cousins! After that, Marrissa heads off to get deliberately captured, knowing that the Federation's enemies never, ever search footwear. Next, a goofy battle is interrupted by the Pope! Then everyone gets umpty-billion titles! Finally, our frolicsome teens start taking bets on Riker's sex life. (Additional Authors: Dave Hines,
Joseph Nebus, Matthew Blackwell, Tom Salyers [Dave
Hines and Mighty Jack ed.])
