Making Gifs

Postby Rusty Claymore » Wed Jun 30, 2010 4:15 pm

I thought I remembered another thread about Gif files, but I couldn't find it for the life of me.

Anyways, how does one go about making Gifs? I found a website but it doesn't work for me. So I was wondering what you guys do for gifs, if you have a special program or if you use a certain website.

Eh, I use Photoshop/ImageReady or Flash, but I'm sure there's other methods. Maybe GIMP can do it? Look for something that can animate.

GIMP will do it for you very nicely. It even has playback, optimization for gif, and the option to set frame disposal and time (in ms).

If you decide to use GIMP and need comprehensive help, go ahead and shoot me a PM.
