Hmm, excellent cell shading! Path tools can be a pain, I know. But the results sure are crisp! Good color choices too.

Sorry to double-post, but I just want to say: I know that's it's March, but please extend the limit for today! >o< I have almost finished my entry -and besides, February's a short month. :) Whether you extend it or not, I'll post my picture anyway, though. ;) It's fun colouring it. ^^

Voila! A bit late, but done. ^_^ Hope you like. I'm sure I could've spent more time making the background better... but eh. :P Hope you like.

Oh my gosh! I LOVE it, Photosoph! :D I've got no problem with extending the date; I'm out of town at the moment anyways. XD How about we extend it to Sunday? That way, I'll at least be on my own computer to judge them. XD Anyways, I adore the way you did the wings! The background is awesome, too! Great job! :D

Awesome job Photosoph. I like the dark color scheme you chose. The background works really well too - especially the hidden spotlight.

Cool entry, Photosoph! I like the background, and I second what RD said about the wings. Very nice!

Thank you guys! I wanted a 'black wings-with-glossy-green-highlights' sort of look. XD I'm glad you like the way they turned out; it was excellent practice learning how to make them look the way I wanted; it may come in handy in the future.
I'm glad you like the background, too; though I know that if I played around with it more I could probably add more detail to it.
Much thanks to Creatureart for giving me tips on how to make a decent spotlight effect. She's always a good person to ask for advice and tips. ^_^

Thanks Jade. ^_^ Actually, the cyan wasn't something I planned. It just happened when I used the dodge tool on the green. ^_^ Experimenting is so fun!

I just couldn't resist tackling this lineart, especially with the extension and all

Done in Corel Painter, which I'm still attempting to figure out. The colour scheme was actually completely different until about ten minutes ago when I randomly adjusted the colours and went 'hey! that actually looks pretty interesting!'. It also looks like a renegade blur filter attacked the clothing when I wasn't looking O_o

If that background doesn't make your eyes swim, I don't know what will

Nice, LQ! I like the crazy background - very geometric. ^^ And the color scheme is very interesting. Isn't it great when random color adjusts turn out like that?

Ah, I was wondering about that artistic choice... but it's very cool regardless! Great to see you lurking LQ. ;)
