The little logo in the top left says "CAA lite". Is there a heavier CAA?

Oh, I thought this thread was about a new forum that made you lose weight while surfing. So much for that idea.

Well, there is a darker skin setting, or at least there was one once upon a midnight dreary, but lite is best because it loads quicker or something like that. I don't know - Lite just looks better for me, at least.

The short answer is: Yes, if you have a really good reason to switch.

We haven't been updating then non-lite version for three reasons:
1. We moved to a location where we are slightly more interested in conserving bandwidth.
2. I don't have the masteres for the graphics that were used on the non-lite version.
3. There are only 24 hours in the day.

What this means to you the end user is...

If you use the non-lite version, you won't get manga-reviews or chat.

To answer the question (again), this is a skin of CAA that uses less bandwidth. There is another version that contains many more small graphics (and, coincidentally, is overall darker), but as Mithrandir explained, it is no longer being updated.

While that would be very popular, it would also cause some people to forum themselves out of existence.
