CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

I have a Playstation 3 and I want to get set up with PSN. My landlord agreed to have a router installed from his computer. Now it seems all I would need is some sort of wireless reciever connected to the PS3 to pick up the signal. What do they look like and where can I get one? (If all else fails I could connect with a wire, but it would be running through about 3 rooms to the back where my apartment room is.) Remember, I'm not l33t so try to keep it Layman if you can.

edit edit: No worries, I got it. Just had to switch from Wired to Wireless. I'm typing this hunt-and-peck style with my controller.
