BitTorrent help

Postby Tarnish » Tue Sep 13, 2005 7:36 pm

I wanted to install BitTorrent on my Mac, and did, but when I shut my computer off, and later turned it back on BT was gone..
Did I do something wrong? Should I use a different version?
Thanks for any help I may get.

I don't think it's gone, there's just no visible sign it's there. Try clicking on a torrent link and see what happens..... if it's there, it will work as it should and start downloading.

No, its gone.
I did a search and everything! I'll try again tonight, and if it doesn't work, it doesn't work.

Is Bittorrent compatable with Macintosh computers? I'm honestly not certain, but if there isn't a Mac version somewhere on the internet I'd be surprised.

Yes, and that's the version I downloaded. I think it may have been something stupid I did, but I just don't know.

There is a Mac version, uc. It doesn't like my proxy, though, so I don't use it.

Thanks, I'll try it out as soon as I can.
Can anyone give me some information on Tomato Torrent? It's supposedly one of the best but I'm not sure if it's worth it or not.
