I've been trying to catch up on Switched at Birth before the new season premiere. Personally it's interesting to see what it would be like if that situation happened, with those circumstances. (Chances are it has, but the show gives you an opportunity to "see" that.) I guess that's what makes it intriguing to me.

Not sure if this counts, but I'm currently watching a webseries called Standard Action, which kind of pokes fun at D&D tropes. It's amateur, so some of the acting and such are sub-par, but it's a lot of fun.

I'm trying on Heroes. I like a lot of things about it, excpet for the amount of objectionable content and how they hop from storyline to storyline. When the different storylines cross, now that's when it gets good.

I rewatched the first season of Touch, since I got it on DVD. This time through, I noticed a detail that never really registered before: All the people who could possibly be the 36, or at least have some intimate connection to the Amelia Sequence, drink orange soda just like Jake. So many more characters than I ever noticed before are shown carrying orange bottles, or drinking from them, or what-have-you. That's a really cool detail, and one you probably wouldn't pick up on unless you knew what to look for.

Finished Touch, which had a wonderful, perfectly satisfactory ending. I was so afraid it was going to end with some kind of awful cliff-hanger and then we'd never find out what happened next because it's canceled, but this was a really good way to end.

Now I've started Supernatural, and am enjoying it thoroughly. I really enjoy the dynamics between the two brothers. I can tell the writing isn't spectacular (still not too bad, though), and I've heard it gets pretty lame after a while, but I'm planning on stopping before that point.

The Pretender, Season 1. I'm re-watching the entire series in preparation for the Rebirth in Fall/Autumn (US) Spring (Australia).

There are Pretenders among us. Geniuses with the ability to become anyone they want to be. In 1963 a corporation known as the Centre isolated a young Pretender named Jarod & exploited his genius for their research. Then -- their Pretender ran away...

Well, I watched my first ever episode of Star Trek recently. It was from Voyager, an episode called "Riddles." It actually made me cry, even though I'd never met the characters before or anything! Still think all the aliens look stupid, though :P

I also tried out the first episode of the K-drama Someday. I'm not really sure it's my kind of thing, but I guess if I ever did watch a K-drama, it would be this one.

I've been watching the older seasons of 24. Jack Bauer kicks more *** in 24 hours than you do in a lifetime.

Capture on CW, its not the best show ever but this weeks episode was a lot better, they introduced a lot of cool cocepts. I still love that the teal team is the girl that plays Patricia on house of anubis and her twin sister. And they have yet to mention they are actresses, but I know CW, I know.

Arrested Development. I watched a couple of seasons several years back but I've forgotten much of it and I really want to watch the new season.

Nobody has mentioned Breaking Bad and this disappoints me greatly. It's probably one of the greatest shows on television as to date. It's obviously not *the best* of course as that title is reserved for The Wire.

BBCs Sherlock. Good, good stuff. Can't wait for the next season!

the_wolfs_howl wrote:Forgot to mention that I also watched a random episode of Psych. Eh, I prefer Sherlock Holmes :P

Going into it expecting Sherlock is the wrong way to approach it and will probably guarantee that you wont like it xDIt was never meant to be taken like that. It's a silly detective comedy. Nothing more.

Finished seasons 1 and 2 of Game of Thrones. We don't have cable, so we have to watch it when it comes out, but it is amazing!

Oh, don't worry, I went into it expecting that. But just because I knew it wouldn't be the same tone or kind of story as Sherlock Holmes doesn't mean I can't compare the two detectives. Psych's protagonist (whose name escapes me at the moment) just isn't as interesting as the other quirky detectives I know. Good for a few laughs, but not enough to make me interested in watching the whole show.

I recently finished the first season of Supernatural, and absolutely loved it. I can certainly see why some people would have issues with it, since it does deal with a lot of spiritual things, including but not limited to demon possession. But I just loved the character interactions. At first, I wasn't sure I would like it very much because it seemed to focus a lot more on the action than deep characterization, and the writing seemed pretty weak at times. But the longer it went on, the more everything improved, till I was sitting mesmerized by the acting, at least (I doubt the writing of this show will ever be Joss Whedon-esque). I could read every single word they didn't say on their faces - especially Dean's. My favorite kind of relationships are brotherly and fatherly ones, so this is the perfect show for me. I loved every single conversation that dug down into the family dynamics, and after episode 14, I ended up crying in every single episode! :sniffle:

Wonderful, breathtaking, riveting show. Definitely watching the second season when I get a chance.

I've been watching Warehouse 13 on Netflix. I recently finished Eureka. I've been watching some classic Doctor Who. The last one of those I watched was Fang Rock with the 4th doctor Tom Baker.

American cartoons I'd watched recently are Talespin, Men in Black(animated series), Tron Uprising, Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited.
