I think that this looks pretty good. Spidey is skinny, like the modern version, and it looks like they have opted for the mechanical web-shooters over organic. I really want to see what they did with the mask, as I am sort of hoping that they found a way to make the giant eyed version look good.

I think he looks like an awesome Spider-man. He seems more relative to the comic book Spider-man than Tobey Maguire... Tobey did bring an endearing kind of klutziness to Peter Parker though.

I have no objection to this. I think Garfield will do an awesome job. ^_^

How come the spider symbol is all smudged? Because this is going to be DARKER AND EDGIER?

I presume it's because he just got done getting his butt handed to him. I mean, look at the claw marks across his chest.

Well, it does look like he's been in a fight. I don't know which villain/s are supposed to show up in this movie, but I'm going to assume that whichever villain it is is responsible for the way he and his costume look in that picture. XD

Anyways, I'm stoked for this. XD I can't wait to see what Andrew Garfield does with the role. XD

Wow, so there really is going to be a new Spider-man movie? *Is way behind when it comes to movies coming out.* Looks pretty good. :)

Quoted for truth.

People on imdb are whining about his hairstyle, of all things, but I'm not sure how you can when 3 had...

I like =D Like Peter's look, like the costume... Looks a lot more sturdy than the one in the old movies. Looks more homemade too..

I like the new guy too. Although I did think Tobey did a great job as Spidey. It wasn't his fault three was so bad. It was the fact that Sam Raimi caved in to pressure from the fans and half-heartedly put Venom into the story. (I say half-heartedly because he didn't even want to put Venom in it, and when he did, he got, what, 15 minutes?)The third movie was a mess. And why was Gwen Stacy in it? She didn't even die!

While I liked Tobey's Spiderman okay, there is something about Tobey's acting (specifically the way he cries) that I find hard to buy. But he did a good job and the first two movies will probably always be special to me. Probably the first more than anything else. Tobey really was endearing as Peter Parker, especially in #1.

The claw marks on his chest. I would guess is from The Lizard.

I don't see bad news there.

Part of it was that some of the actors were getting tired of being in the series. I honestly thought that T. McGuire was starting to look too old to play him.

It's a rhetorical question. I was kind of joking... :/

This shot with Andrew Garfield in this thread is actually from the reboot. XD The news that Raimi's Spiderman 4 was cancelled is pretty old, and the reboot has been in the works for a while now. XD

I love the new suit. The way the gloves are red and blue instead of just red and yellow eyes.
