Amen to that. I watched one episode. Never again. "Reality" TV is not something I like to watch...

Oh....Bad anime dubbing....the horror..THE HORROR!!!!
With your doubt, all is comfort

No more questions left unanswered
No more wonder, no more fear

The wiggles. It was like a horror movie... I knew that I didnt really want to see it, that it would give me nightmares for the rest of my life, but I just couldnt help looking to see what happened next... its just terrible how human nature seeks out the evil in things..

So many shows, so little space. The bottom of the barrel I suppose are those reality shows that show footage of car crashes, crimes and other disasters. Reality TV in general is pretty awful, and so is professional wrestling.
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

Hey! My acquaintance's gf and a guy who went to the university across the street from me were on AI... (though, you know, that WAS the only reason I watched... Simon depresses me... I mean, I can only imagine what he'd tell me)

Really, Married with Children takes the top place... That show is so horribly pathetic and disgusting, I honestly can't find a single redeeming quality to it, but I still watch it... Sad... It's my impure, low quality, cheap crack. Honestly, when I have enough energy by that point to get up out of my chair and change the channel, I do. That's why I watch it so often, hehe...

That's why I loved "My big fat obnoxious fiancé" or, well, why I sorta liked it anyhow, though I would have loved it more if she didnt' get any money out of it... You know, it would serve her right for being willing to humiliate herself and her family for a little cash. Well, humiliate herself, maybe, but not what she did to her family... What if her dad just died of a heart attack... It was nice to see something make fun of those (for those that never watched it, she was the "prize" and he was the contestant in a fake dating show, and they staged an engagement... I only watched the last ep, just because I wanted to see how it all ended)

Let's See,
One Tree Hill and The OC because they're so full of sex,
The Swan just because,
and
The Nick And Jessica Variety Show that's on ABC. That show was too corny for me.

I must say that "The Swan" horrifies me. People have placed beauty as such a high god that anything, money, severing the body, changing everything about the way one was originally formed, to look just like every other person that society deems "beautiful"... I mean, it's just angering to me. Does beauty bring fulfillment? What happens when one needs another plastic surgery? Do we go for another round? Maybe I'm just missing it.

I'm not much of an advocate of plastic surgery in most cases. Sorry if that is offensive.

I was up the other night and unfortunately decided to watch SciFi channel's Tripping the Rift. This is a horrible excuse for a show. They put the disclaimer of "for mature audiences" but only insanely immature people could enjoy that filth. I'd vote South Park as well, but I've never watched a whole episode with out getting disgusted and turning.

The O. C. and One Tree Hill also disgust me! I can't stand to watch those shows, yet half of my friends and even little 13 and 14-year-olds LOVE those shows!! How can they stand it????

Eh, American Idol isn't bad. It's just a talent show, and it doesn't have any offensive content like alot of other shows do.

But I agree that The Swan is just plain sick. I feel sorry for those women.

Anything reality T.V., stuff like Survivor, The Apprentice, Osbournes, that Jessica Simpson show, the one with Paris Hilton, Average Joe or who wants to date a millionaire or whatever they are called.

This is really a sad time in television. *Sigh*

Hmmm.... no real Tv shows that would make me barf mentioned here, although a lot of that stuff is rubbish.

Heres my list:

Dirty Sanchez (Although I do find this quite amusing)
Some stuff in CKY (Again it is quite amusing, Bam rules)
A documentry on the discovery channel about Stigmata (Now that really did make me feel ill, and Im a horror fan! Texas Chainsaw Massicre was more child friendly!)

ER. *shudders* It all happened when a friend and I were watching TV.. and we stumbled across an episode of ER, where some guy had fallen on a "stick" (more like a tree branch!) that had gone up through... all the way to his abdomen... *irk* *runs away*

CSI...some scenes are gory (well duh since there's a murder in every episode) and it's also kind of depressing at times...

And Survivor. I read Battle Royale by Koushun Takami and somehow, I never looked at the show the same way...*shudder*
