Here he is! My latest creation. He's determined to tickle you...

I will take better pics of him later. Let me know what you think of him! :)

I love mice!!! He's very cute. You did great detail on the face and hands (paws?). Tell him to lay off the beer, though. *hehe*

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Awww, he's cute, EireWolf...XD He does have a neat face...it strikes me as slightly doglike somehow...:dizzy: Oh well, I'm nuts...;)

:grin: You're not nuts. I've been thinking the same thing; his face is sorta' doglike but his hands/feet and tail are mousy. I gave him some humanoid features, too.

You know... I never thought I'd see a pot bellied mouse sculpture for as long as I lived, but I was apparently wrong. That's a very well done sculpture though!

A project in my 3-D Design class was to take part of a painting and do it 3-dimensionally. I found a painting by Brian Froud (a really cool faery artist), and this little guy was hiding in it. I cropped it so you can see only the mousy guy, as he is hard to spot otherwise. I took some artistic liberties :sweat: so it's not exactly the same, but this is the picture that inspired this sculpture:

Thanks! ^_^ Yeah, I changed his face... and his hands and feet... and wings (which I'm going to change again)... and you can't really see his tail in the pic... and I endowed him with a much bigger belly.... He was fun to do! ^_^
