This is a late reply, but s'all good. I was pretty must the guinea pig of that new segment, so i was kidding and not really expecting you to know about it. ^_^ *coughbutyoucanstillgolistentothatepisodecough*
Bear in mind, these guys on the podcast pick members at random, almost. And if you don't accept, they will kidnap you, tie you up, stuff you in Link's car's trunk and drive you out to the middle of the desert.
That's not the worst part, either. Fish will be driving.

*is totally kidding....really*

And to make this post actually worth something, I will add another topic suggestion.
What are your favorite Japanese and English VAs? Why?
(can't remember if this topic has already been posted, if so, ignore) ^_^;

Do you think a successful live-action anime adaption that's also critically successful could help the US anime market?

For those of you that are manga readers, do you read American, French, or Korean comic books? The same could probably apply to anime and animation from other countries.

Question: What kind of bear is best?

*seriously, what kind of bear is best?*

Also, do you read any American or otherwise Super Hero comics? If so, which ones and why? Favorite comic publishers?
Read actual comic books, or the Sunday funnies? Which do you prefer and why?

(also, if you have time, maybe taking a quick look at this site and giving your thoughts. I personally enjoy his reviews, mostly for the comic relief *coughpunintendedcough*)

Oh, and something else:

What anime/manga character is your twin as far as appearance and or personality?
What anime/manga character is your inverse (polar opposite) as far as appearance and or personality?
What anime/manga character is your dream girl? Why? *dream guy if any girls answer on the podcast in the future*
Favorite anime/manga character of all time? Why?

OPs and EDs. Top five of your favorites or what you consider the best (within the context of the anime or not, your choice). And for further discussion in case you're bored, you can talk about what makes an appealing OP or ED. Does it always depend on the series' context with the OP/ED, or can you like an OP/ED and hate the series (or vice versa, love the series, but hate the OP/ED)?

And, have any of you watched an anime/read a manga without having heard anything about it? Like a blind read/watch, in a sense. If so, did it go well? And if not, why won't you try it?

How do you feel about using scanlations or fansubs, or others using them?

The Openings and Ending questions should be made a permanent one of the set questions you ask each interviewee.

Another good question should be about the upcoming movies of year, both anime and live action / Hollywood.

What are (or would be) the pluses and minuses of your significant other being into anime?

The coming-of-age story in anime/manga: do you tire of it or do you still heart it?

Are there any tropes/trends or otherwise cool aspects of 90s anime (or older anime if you prefer) that you miss today?

I second this "hint hint".

Also, more topic ideas:

- Thinking of the Doctor Who cast idea reminded me, that if there is enough interest, you all should do a Kamen Rider cast. :D (yes, this is an excuse to get you all to start watching Kamen Rider) Or you could do a small segment on it, that's okay too. :3

- What anime/manga are on your to watch/read list (if you even have one)? Why are they there and why haven't you gotten to them yet?

- And for something totally off the wall: You are stranded on a desert island with a portable battery powered DVD player. You only have enough battery power to watch one anime series (the battery power will magically adjust according to your choice), which title will you choose to watch before you die of starvation (or get rescued)?
(Note: You cannot remove the batteries from the DVD player)

I think this may have already been touched on, can't remember, but what do you think about live action anime adaptions, both from Japan and America?

If you could create a live action adaption, of which anime would it be and what would be the best way to pull it off?

Have you ever tried to re-create food or dishes you've seen in anime? Has anime inspired you to drink Ramune or eat Pocky?

Sitting next to a warm fire on a cold snowy night, what is the best comfort anime series that you have? (Like the ones you keep returning too, not because they have good story lines or art, but just because you love to watch them).

Do you tend to prefer anime or manga when both have a version of a story, including anime first series like Eureka Seven or Evangelion.

I've been listening to a few of the old podcast episodes and I must say that I think the new ones are actually better structured and flow better, if that makes sense.

I find it quite ironic that in episode 20 (before the reboot) there was a brief discussion about the CAA radio going "off air" due to Link getting "voted off the island". Quite interesting in hindsight. XD

I would like to see the "question to the audience" revived.

I return with more ideas.

- Have you ever been mistaken for someone else (like a celebrity)?
- Going off that first question, can you mimic anyone famous' voice?
- Or better yet, mimic any anime character's voice?
- If you had a choice to travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why (and be specific, not just "Japan" or wherever, but what city/region)?
- What anime series have you watched the most?

This may venture into uncharted territory, and I'm not sure if you could use this, but.... How do you feel about live-action adaptations/movies based off of anime and manga? Do you watch them? What are the benefits to them, or the downsides to them? Are there any that you're particularly fond of?
