Review The short version:

This show is funny, beautiful, and symbolic. The biggest concerns will probably be violence and, if it bothers you, the use of tobacco.

Review:

I've watched it through more than once and enjoy it each time. While a couple of the minor characters have a troubling taste for violence, most of the characters hold ideals of discipline and honor. Especially Tamaki, who tries harder than most to uphold justice in a world of injustice, as well as being somewhat purposely stoic about what she herself faces. All of the main characters grow in different ways over the course of the series, learning lessons of perseverance, interdependence, dedication, and friendship.
The music is very enjoyable and doesn't wear thin on repeated viewings, and the music fits the mood of what's happening on the screen. Most of it is very pretty, and the rest is very fitting to the heroic action it backs.

Content details:

Violence: A few of the minor characters participate in violent acts during the series. One of the main characters has some violent tendencies, but she doesn't usually act on them in a destructive way.
Language: There were a few minor swears over the course of the show.
Sexual content: There are a lot of shots that could be considered fanservice, but they are underplayed. The other characters don't react to them, and there's usually an important line being said, so viewers might not notice them at all. One character is a stalker, and possibly yaoi, but this is portrayed negatively.
Nudity: There are a couple of scenes where people are changing/bathing, but nothing is shown.
Religion: As the story takes place in Japan, Tama and her father both talk to her late mother at times, and Tama prays at her tomb before and after a couple of the matches. This does not figure into the plot, but it is shown. On occasion, mostly for jokes, some of the characters see another character's aura.

Subs vs. Dub: I only watched a few episodes of the dub, but what I noticed is that the dubbed script changes a lot of lines. Kirino's, in particular, are much less charming in the dub. Also, Dan's voice doesn't seem to fit his character in the dub.

Review A charming show, from the first episode to the last.
Be sure to watch for the after-credits segments in each episode.
There are several scenes that feature events related to Eastern religion. There is also a little bit of blood in the show, though the only instances I remember were when two of the children had baby teeth come out. There is also some alcohol and tobacco use, and a few mild swears.
Rin's mother and father had an inappropriate relationship, and this is mentioned several times.
Clannad After Story (Jump to title)

Review The only thing I have to add to the other reviews is that this title is emotionally intense, in spite of the quirky lightness that pops up from time to time.
Where Clannad lifted your spirits and made you happy, After Story waits for you to care deeply about all the characters, then put them through horrible situations, then make you think things are looking up, only to pull the rug out from under you and stomp on your heart again.
Wishes and despair feature heavily in this show.

Review Review (subtitled):
I love this show. I always feel good after watching an episode of it. Some funny parts, but mostly just good feeling smiles.
Be sure not to stop watching at the Japanese credits, because nearly every episode has between the credits and the preview a cute little vignette that continues the story.
Yune's personality and cultural tendency to help others is charming, and the reactions of all the other characters to her (and by extension, her culture) are interesting and enjoyable.
The music is both lively and soothing, and the art is beautiful, mostly very realistic, except for the occasional chibi sequence.
Language: I only noticed one minor swear.
Nudity/sexual content: There are a couple of bathing scenes with nothing showing you wouldn't see on the beach in one episode, along with a painting of Japanese women bathing nude, which shows undetailed nudity, but the portrayal is nonsexual. There is some mention and subtext about amants (lovers), which might need to be explained.
Theological content: There's hardly any, but if this is a sensitive issue for you or your family, be aware that Yune talks a little during the story about the religious beliefs of her country (multiple gods, magic)

Review As this is a period piece set in England, drinking and tobacco use are fairly common. Beyond that, there is very little about this show that anyone should find objectionable.

Review Overall: An excellent story with greater depth of character than is usually found in stories of a newcomer entering a world of artistic fame.

Review: Starts slow, with some lack of clarity if it's fantasy or metaphor, but in the third episode, it all resolves into a beautiful beginning, with some pleasant surprises and great lines. This show is a joy to watch for the growth of the main character in every episode, and the surprise of those who underestimate her.
Maya's journey feels genuine, her obstacles realistic and contextually appropriate. The different insights Maya must gain on her journey are creative and compelling.
Particularly impressive is the depth of Maya's main rival. So often, in stories in this genre, the rival is just catty and tries to tear down the protagonist to get ahead, but the rival here recognizes Maya's talent and corrects the scoffing of others.
My only regret in this show is that its ending Spoiler: doesn't wrap up some of the more interesting side arcs, and leaves the main decision resolved in a (not entirely unexpected) third choice that may leave some viewers feeling unsatisfied. However, even with this regret, Glass Mask is the best of this type of story I've seen. I highly recommend it.

Content Details
Violence: There is a lot of implied violence in the story (dangerous situations and reckless endangerment, without actual serious damage occurring). The actors endure some very harsh treatment. But that may not count as violence. A pot of boiling water is thrown at someone in one scene. The mentor has some sort of wasting disease (consumption?) and coughs up blood in several scenes.
Nudity: Ayumi does a scene topless, but her hair or arms cover her chest.
Other Problematic Themes: Alcohol and tobacco use is prevalent.

Review Atria's review covered this series very well. I only have a few things to add:
There are a lot of scene in the baths, but in spite of the amount of nudity, there are very few shots in the show that feel fanservice-y.
Tobacco and alcohol use is shown in several scenes.

Review I would highly recommend this to people who enjoy romantic tales. This is a really sweet and gentle story. The art style is a little odd, but as I got into the story, I didn't notice it as much.
Very clean anime.
The only thing that I saw that might be troubling to some people is the presence of some talk about superstitions and curses and Eastern culture (shrines, fortunes, etc.).
Koronuma Sawako's attitude and gentle spirit could be a good role model.
The music was very pleasant and fitting.

Review This show contains a lot of nihilism, people in despair of anyone outside themselves solving their problems, charms, ambiguous sexual symbolism, inappropriate relationships, and wanton violence, at times. Beyond that, the message of the show is not even clear, so viewers may get widely disparate messages from it.
There is some nudity, mostly undetailed and in silhouette. There are also implications of various horrible things happening to children, though the show is so heavily symbolic that it is sometimes difficult to figure out what is actually happening to various people.

Review Overall:
An interesting story full of intrigue and creative use of resources. Worth seeing once.

Content details:
The story revolves around a black-ops group, so there's a lot of violence, blood, and gunplay.
Adult situations pop up from time to time, and there is some undetailed nudity (from behind and negatively portrayed) in two episodes. Throughout, there are some mild swears. The tone of the show is relatively dark, and the ending is not particularly upbeat.

Review Not much to say about this one. It doesn't really stand out in any way.
The story is pretty dark for all that it's handled with child-friendly sensibilities. There's a genetic alteration project and body snatching conspiracy, but nobody dies on screen that I recall.
Not particularly satisfying, and the short run meant that what story there was got squished to meet the length. You won't miss anything great if you skip this show.

Review Overall
A delightful show about a girl's quest to become a musician in a war-torn world. For all that there is conflict everywhere around them, the characters of this show mostly live in an idyllic calm, like the eye of a hurricane.

Content Notes:
There is alcohol and tobacco use in this show. Spoiler: The outpost makes and sells alcohol.
Some of the characters conclude that life has no meaning. And there is a sense of hopelessness to a lot of the characters, about the world at large.
There is some violence and blood in some of the flashbacks, and in the last few episodes. Spoiler: There is some threat of violence surrounding the manufacture of alcohol in one episode.

Review Review:
I thoroughly enjoyed this show. There were a lot of really sweet parts, and the behaviors didn't feel contrived the way a lot of romantic comedies do. The characters were very sympathetic and fun to watch, and I liked the way the show fulfilled the promises the early arc made. I highly recommend it, with appropriate caveats to people who are sensitive to violence or language.

Content notes:
Taiga is quite violent. There's a knock-down drag-out fistfight in one episode.
Ryuji and Taiga both say a number of mild swears.
Taiga is shown in a very provocative way (holding a sheet to cover her nude body) in someone's dream at one point.
One of the guys appears nude (but covered or off-screen) in front of a mixed group once.
Other activities: 0 records found.
