Anthony Castellino

Anthony Castellino specializes mainly in Star Wars fanfics. In fact, he's only broken that habit once, and that was to snag up a Ratliff story.

Return to Hoth:
The alleged plot of this Star Wars fanfic is that the Rebellion thinks the Empire, for lack of anything better to do, has moved into the old base on Hoth that the Rebellion abandoned in "The Empire Strikes Back". Han Solo and Wedge Antilles are assigned to go blow it and any Imperial ships there up. For reasons unknown, Admiral Ackbar has also hired Boba Fett, a bounty hunter that Han doesn't particularly like to join this mission. Han whines, Boba maintains that he was "chust followink orders", and Wedge just wants to play chess as the "plot" predictably winds itself up too fast.

This MiSTing was awarded a Silver Cambot for being nominated for a Balsa Waffle for Worst New Character in 1997 (for the clone of Admiral Thrawn).

The Battle For Bajor:
This is one of Stephen Ratliff's revised works, with the original being MiSTed by that other David Hines guy. Since, in Ratliff's own words, only 5% of the original story remained. Gul Dukat decides that perhaps more than one ship is needed to invade the Federation, so he tries ten. Marrissa uses more random violence to again save the day, shortly before her parent's funeral. Jean-Luc Picard, perhaps under the effects of Ratliff Gas, decides to adopt the genocidal little munchkin. This story fits between "Enterprized" and "All The King's Horses".

Wanted ****TICKLISH GUYS**** / Celebration
Unfortunately, "Ticklish Guys" is exactly what it sounds like. A woman will pay you cash, or possibly give you a new computer if you're an attractive male willing to videotape being tickled for thirty minutes to an hour to sate her bizarre fetish. What a deal! In "Celebration", we see a story picking up near the end of Star Wars: A New Hope, concentrating on the love triangle of Leia, Han and Luke (yuck!).

Death of a Master:
It's fun for all concerned as Luke Skywalker dies a horrible death after a mysterious illness! See! Everybody whining about how unfair it is! Marvel! As the "death is the nature of the universe" cliché is recited ad infinitum! Gasp! As all Star Wars continuity is blown out of the water!

Flight to Bespin, Part I, Part II and Part III:
Here's another bit of revisionist history as Leia spends a lot of time talking to herself between the Asteroid part and the Cloud City part of The Empire Strikes Back.

Nominated for the Golden Hamdinger for "Best Non-Standard MST3K Character in an MST3K Setting" in 1997
(Dr. Forrester, TV's Frank and Joel in a Season 8 MiSTing)

Understanding, Part I and Part II:
Isn't this one sweet? Right after Return of the Jedi, Luke and Leia decide to sit down, and hold each other commiserating over the knowledge that Darth Vader is their father. Maybe I just don't understand this stuff because I have a Y chromosome.
